When I molded my first clay pieces 15 years ago in high school, it felt like a fun past time. An easy elective to flex my creativity.

Fast forward 12 or 13 years: I meet an inspiring artist during a ceramics class at Cone 6 in Barrio Logan, San Diego. Within days, my passing interest in pottery has exploded into a full-blown passion.

Through my own experimentation with clay work, the encounter at Cone 6, and discovering “A Pair of Plants”—a TikTok ceramics artist with a quirky vision—I brought my unique spin on plant vases to life.

While these in-person and online examples kindled my blooming creativity, I’ve personalized my approach, crafting vases that reflect my special style: a blend of post-punk, streetwear, and Y2K vintage, often featuring darker tones.

Darth Fusion has now become a direct expression of my aesthetic and my perspective on life.
